Absentee voting for the Republican runoff election in District Two between Ron Eller and Andrew Scott Smith ends tomorrow, with the election slated for next Tuesday. The winner will face Representative Bennie Thompson in November. Voting is available during normal business hours and at the local circuit clerk's office, with polls open from 7 AM to 7 PM on Tuesday.

Two are competing for the right to 16-term Democratic incumbent Bennie Thompson in Mississippi's 2nd Congressional District. Ron Eller and Andrew Scott Smith were the top vote-getters in the March 12 primary, but neither received the vote majority needed to avoid Tuesday's runoff election.

Report: Driver had Kratom chemical in system at time of fatal Rankin County crash
