Beth Ann White to stand trial for a second time
SUMMARY: Beth Ann White has been indicted once again and faces a new charge in connection with a deadly DUI crash in November 2021 that killed a woman and her young son, and injured her two daughters. Prosecutors have clarified their evidence and White is now facing a fourth offense DUI charge due to her prior convictions. The trial, which previously ended in a hung jury, will commence again next week. Legal experts believe that prosecutors have refined their case and stand a better chance of securing a conviction in the retrial, as repeated trials typically benefit the prosecution.
