Bomb threats under investigation

SUMMARY: Authorities the Capitol , Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security, FBI, Mississippi of Investigation, and Department of Homeland Security are investigating bomb threats made against several Planet gyms in the metro area. Four locations were given the all-clear after inspections by police, including Jackson, Brandon, and Ridgeland police. Two bomb threats were made against the gyms, but no explosive devices were found. The investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the threats and ensure the safety of the community.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation along with the Department of Homeland Security is investigating bomb threats made against several Planet Fitness gyms.

Pine Belt chapter of Habitat for Humanity working on 72nd home

Bobby Moore, who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina, is for their new home on Park Avenue in Hattisburg. Moore has completed financial literacy courses and is close to completing her volunteer hours. Volunteers are needed to finish the by the end of July. Arrest made in Jasper County human trafficking case
