Former Ole Miss star A.J. Brown becomes highest-paid receiver in NFL history

Couple arrested after husband received unemployment benefits while in prison
SUMMARY: Brandon Williams and Miranda Trulove from Mississippi have been arrested for conspiring to defraud the state by claiming unemployment benefits for Williams while he was incarcerated. Williams would call Trulove from prison to apply for benefits on his behalf, which he then received through a debit card that she used. 2 MSMS students named 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars
SUMMARY: Noah Curtis Lee and Iris Jiani Xue from Southaven, students at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, have been named 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars. Out of the 3.7 million high school graduates this year, only 161 were recognized for their academic, artistic, or technical excellence alongside leadership and community service. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona announced the scholars, who were selected through evaluations, essays, and standardized tests. The program, since 1964, has commendably expanded to include arts and technical fields. The Class of 2024 will be celebrated with an online recognition program this summer.
