Body discovered by fisherman in Pearl River believed to be missing Jackson man
SUMMARY: The brother of Dau Mabil, a missing Sudanese refugee, is trying to get a court order to stop the release of remains found in the Pearl River, suspecting they may be Dau's. Dau disappeared on March 25 in Jackson, after going for a walk without his phone and hasn't been seen since. The body, believed to be a Black male's, could link to Dau's case. Bul Mabil, Dau's brother, filed the order against Dau's spouse and others, and an autopsy has been ordered. Dau is a former “Lost Boy” of Sudan and well-known pizza chef in Jackson.
