Helping Disadvantaged Coast Communities with Environmental Actions
SUMMARY: On May 1, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a $2,499,800 grant to The Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain (LTMCP) to aid disadvantaged communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Announced by Cesar Zapata and Marc Wyatt of the EPA, the funding is part of the EPA's Environmental Justice Program.
