City of Gulfport announces debris pick-up system

The is reinstating rules for debris pickup, starting .

As of today, debris piles located south of I-10 will be picked up the first two full weeks of each month. Piles north of the interstate will be picked up the last two weeks of the month.

Additionally, each residence and business that pays for services will have one monthly debris pickup.

Beginning May 1st, citations will be issued if debris piles contain non-approved items.

The city is not responsible for disposing of hazardous waste, mattresses and furniture, tires and engine parts, home…

Singing River Health System opposes plans for surgery clinic in Gautier
