SUMMARY: Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College students excelled at the 2024 State SkillsUSA Competitions, with winners in both secondary and postsecondary categories. In the secondary division, students from George County High School's Emergency Medical Technology program dominated, with Bishop Ladnier and Rayne Bexley winning gold in EMT and Amy Smith placing third in CPR. In the postsecondary category, MGCCC students Emmanuel Reyes, Bruce Bradley, Liliane Bullock, and Piper Haag also showcased their skills, with Haag winning gold in Baking and Pastry.
