River Avenue bridge opening bumped back by supply chain delays
SUMMARY: The construction of the River Avenue Bridge in Forest County has faced delays, originally scheduled for completion in mid-April but now uncertain. The County Engineer and Board of Supervisors revealed that construction company TL Wallace faced difficulties with guard rail installation, causing delays. However, this issue has been resolved, and crews are now working on finishing the decks before applying a final layer of asphalt. TL Wallace assured the board that the bridge should be complete or near complete by the following week. Commuters will have to wait a little longer before the River Avenue Bridge is open for use.

Rain is expected to increase in the near future, with isolated storms on Sunday and a greater chance of rain on Monday. The rain may help to cool things off slightly, but the warm conditions will persist. Despite the rain, there is a drying out trend expected in the coming days.
