SUMMARY: S-E-C won four straight games to finish on top 66-45 and advance to the semifinals at the Big House in Jackson. Biggersville defeated South Delta 72-48 in the 1-A semis, while Magee lost to Coahoma County 52-46 in the 3A semis. In other results, Jefferson Davis County girls lost to Belmont 59-37 and South Delta girls lost to Blue Mountain 69-43. In the M-A-I-S tournament, MRA came back from an 18-point deficit to beat Jackson Prep 57-50, while Jackson Academy defeated Oak Forest Academy 38-35. The semifinals continued with local teams trying to advance to the finals.

Both private and public schools has semifinal competition to kickoff championship week on Monday. Check out the highlights and results as local and area teams punch their tickets to their respective championships games.
