The good, the bad, and the ugly from the Saints’ second preseason game
SUMMARY: The New Orleans Saints won their preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers with a score of 22-17. However, there were several negatives surrounding the game. Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence and obstructing a police officer. There was also an earthquake and tropical storm in the area before kickoff. The Saints committed numerous penalties, resulting in lost yards and stalled drives. The team's head coach acknowledged the need for improvement despite the victory. The Saints' offense struggled, but their defense forced three turnovers and sacked the quarterback five times. The Saints will play the Houston Texans next.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lands on Mississippi ballot as part of ‘We The People’ party
SUMMARY: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has established the “We The People” party in Mississippi to get on the presidential ballot with fewer signatures than required for an independent candidate. The Mississippi Secretary of State approved the paperwork, with Kennedy and Nicole Shanahan set to be nominated. The party aims to facilitate Kennedy's ballot access while avoiding high signature costs. The Kennedy-Shanahan ticket is now on the ballot in nine states and has enough signatures for 14 more. Despite this unconventional approach and limited campaign visibility, Kennedy aims to appear on every state ballot for the November 5th general election.
