SUMMARY: Four members of the 2023-24 Perkette dance team at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College are advancing to NCAA Division I schools. Amelia Green will join Mississippi State University's Pom Squad. Annelise Blakeney is heading to Southeastern Louisiana University's Lionettes Dance Team. Amber McCardle and Carolina Hairston will both join the University of South Alabama's Prowlers Dance Team. SUMMARY: Three sophomores from Mississippi Gulf Coast's national championship golf team—Will Burnham, Jackson Wise, and Andrew Zielinski—received Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar awards for their academic and athletic achievements. To qualify, players must participate in at least 50% of competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 77, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. Burnham, ranked No. 1 nationally, graduated with a 3.84 GPA and will play at Southern Miss. Wise, with a 3.65 GPA, will continue at Mississippi State, and Zielinski, ranked No. 2, graduated with a 3.92 GPA and will join Lee University.

Dees joins Baseball coaching staff
