Trio of Texas teens arrested for string of auto burglaries in central Mississippi
SUMMARY: Three Texas teens, Anthony Gazzara Douglas III, Javon Catrell Noble, and Kenneth Demarion Lewis, were arrested in connection with a series of auto burglaries in central Mississippi. The Richland Police Department reported over 37 commercial motor vehicles burglarized and the theft of CPC modules, resulting in approximately $200,000 in damages. Surveillance and investigation led to the teens' arrest by the Madison Police and the recovery of over 60 stolen CPC modules plus burglary tools. The suspects are currently in Rankin County Jail as the investigation continues, and victims of the thefts are urged to contact the Richland Police.

SUMMARY: Gary Raymon Rush, a 35-year-old from Meridian, received a 50-year prison sentence without parole for sex crimes against a 12-year-old child. Circuit Court Judge Randi P. Mueller issued the sentence for sexual battery and two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes. Rush had been found guilty by a Biloxi jury after evidence surfaced that he had been caught in the victim's bedroom by a family member. The abuse occurred at night and started two weeks before it was discovered. Rush also had a prior guilty plea for attempted rape in Lauderdale County. He will serve his sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
