What to expect at Mississippi State Fair on October 14-15
SUMMARY: The 164th Mississippi State Fair in Jackson will be taking place this weekend. On Saturday, The Commodores, featuring special guest Four Washington, will perform in the Mississippi Coliseum. On Sunday, Jeremy Camp with Kayla Berry will take the stage. Various activities and events will also be happening throughout the weekend, including the MGA Open Dairy Goat Show and the Zerbini Family Circus. Gate admission is $5 per person, and parking is $5 per car. No outside food or beverage is allowed, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by a legal adult after 9:00 p.m.

Building back the rain chance
SUMMARY: The weather in Columbus, Mississippi will see a break in the rain on Thursday but clouds will start building in the late afternoon. Rain is expected to return late Thursday night and last through the weekend. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s overnight with a chance of patchy fog. Thursday daytime will be relatively nice and hot, with temperatures reaching the middle to upper 80s. Rain is expected to return on Friday with a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather threats, including gusty/damaging winds and hail.
