8 arrested after 11 vehicles burglarized in Madison

SUMMARY: Eight people have been in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in , Mississippi. The burglaries occurred on October 13 and similar incidents were also reported in other parts of North Mississippi, Oxford. Two people were arrested after attempting to cash fraudulent checks in Pearl, and three women were arrested at a home in Hattiesburg. The investigation led to three more suspects in Alabama. All eight individuals are currently in custody and will likely be extradited back to Madison.

Crews close Jackson street due to large sinkhole
