Lottery Makes August Transfer of $11,304,926 to State

SUMMARY: The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has transferred $11,304,926.36 in net proceeds to the Lottery Proceeds Fund in the Mississippi Treasury. This brings the total for Fiscal Year 2024 to $24,721,137.72. As per the Alyce G. Clarke Lottery , the MLC is required to transfer net proceeds within 20 days after each month’s end. The first $80 million goes towards projects, while any excess proceeds go to the Education Enhancement Fund. All numbers are subject to an annual financial audit.
