Search for Macon homicide suspects continues
SUMMARY: MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – Noxubee County Coroner R.L. Calhoun reported a preliminary autopsy revealed that 23-year-old Demetris Harris Jr. was fatally shot once in the abdomen on May 29 while driving down Washington Street. Macon police discovered over 30 shell casings from multiple guns and shooters. Investigators are actively seeking information on the suspects. 1 killed, 1 airlifted to hospital after Rankin County crash
SUMMARY: In Rankin County, Mississippi, an early morning collision occurred on June 10, involving a 2019 Dodge Ram and a 2022 International tractor-trailer on U.S. 49 North near Star Road. The crash resulted in the death of 26-year-old Joseph Cook, the driver of the Dodge Ram. Cook's passenger was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson with unspecified injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was unharmed. The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.

Jackson police investigate two Sunday homicides
SUMMARY: Jackson police are investigating two homicides that occurred on Sunday, June 9. The first incident happened in the 1000 block of Marine Street, where Daivion Myles was shot and later died at a local hospital. The suspects were reported to be in a small, gray four-door sedan. The second homicide took place in the 3200 block of Lakewood Drive around 11:00 p.m. Amarh Harper was found dead at the scene, with suspects seen in a white four-door sedan and a small, light-colored sedan.
