Vehicle rolls into Jackson home, causes gas leak

SUMMARY: Local enforcement in responded to a vehicle incident on Queen Elizabeth Lane this afternoon. An SUV being transported by a pickup truck detached while making a turn, causing the vehicle to roll down the street and strike the side of a home. The incident caused a gas leak, which was attended to by the Atmos and Jackson Fire Departments to prevent a potential explosion. Fortunately, no one was in the incident. Witnesses in the home reported hearing a loud boom and saw the SUV roll down the street and strike their house.

River Bridge nearing completion
