Special agent in charge for Jackson FBI to retire
SUMMARY: Jermicha Fomby, the special agent in charge of the Jackson field office for the FBI in Mississippi, is set to retire at the end of December 2023 after more than 20 years of service. He has focused on community outreach and building trust in the state, and is confident in the successes of his office. Fomby believes in maintaining and restoring trust in the community and wants the people of Mississippi to feel like they can count on the FBI. He plans to continue community initiatives until his last day in the role on December 30, 2023.
