Man pled guilty to 2nd degree murder

Petal fire chief announces retirement

SUMMARY: Longtime Pedal Fire Chief Joe Henry is retiring after 14 years. He reflects on his time in the department and how it has changed. Starting his career in Hattisburg, he moved to PED in 2010, finding solace in the job after the loss of his son. With , he improved staffing and raised their department rating. Henry's proudest accomplishment is the department in -saving techniques. Colleagues praise him as a great leader who has moved the department forward.
