Jarrian Jones gets ready for NFL Draft
SUMMARY: Northwest Rankin standout Jerrian Jones is anticipated to be drafted tonight in the NFL. Flood watches are in effect until Saturday, with rain continuing through the weekend. The cold front will bring more rain on Saturday, with clearing conditions on Sunday. Man shot to death at Jackson gas station
SUMMARY: Police are investigating a shooting death at a Shell gas station on Northside Drive near Boling Street in West Jackson. One man was shot and killed inside the gas station around 6:30 AM. The incident may have started as an aggravated assault. There is a heavy police presence at the scene, and the coroner vehicle has been seen backed into the front entrance of the gas station. Crystal Tisme from 16 WAPT is reporting live from the scene, providing updates on the ongoing investigation. Police are still gathering information and trying to determine what led to the shooting.

Popeyes in North Jackson burglarized
SUMMARY: this morning at a restaurant where someone broke in around 3:30 AM. 16 WAPT's Crystal Tisme is live at the scene where one officer is investigating inside. A missing window at the bottom of the frame is where the suspect gained entry. It is unclear if anything was taken from the restaurant. More information is still being gathered about the incident.
