Bill passes to include ASL as high school foreign language option

Loveless emphasizes the importance of learning ASL not only for communication but also for understanding the culture. 40 other states recognize ASL as a language, and Mississippi is now catching up, striving to create a more inclusive for all.

On April 15, 2024, Governor Tate Reeves signed Senate Bill 2339 into law.
