Back Bay Mission displays transitional shelter built by Gulfport students

SUMMARY: Back Bay Mission recently displayed its first “Tiny Bedroom on Wheels” at a sidewalk in . The goal of this is to keep people off the streets by providing affordable housing. The prototype for the tiny bedroom was built by High School STEM . Churches across Biloxi have also rented out a dunk tank to raise money for the nonprofit organization. The community is supportive of this initiative, as they recognize the homeless problem and believe that it takes a village to find . The next step is to build 25 more tiny bedrooms to get people off the streets.

Back Bay Mission hopes to have some of the rooms up and running in three to five months.

NEW DETAILS: Biloxi Councilman Robert Deming III pleads guilty to federal drug charge

Prosecutors revealed details of a 3-year investigation, Demming adding synthetic cannaboids to CBD vapes sold at his stores. Raids were conducted on seven candy shop locations and Demming's home, where nearly $2 million in cash was seized. While he remains on bond, may require his removal from office as a public official pleading guilty to a felony.

So far, Deming has not indicated if or when he will office.

Southern Miss reveals renovations to Reed Green coliseum
