LEMA wants to remind the public to keep safety tips in mind during this rainy weather. A few hours of prolonged rainfall could lead to a lot of public roads getting underwater quickly. Affected counties include Noxubee, Neshoba, Kemper, Scott, Newton, and Lauderdale. The agency advises not to drown and be cautious of the potential flash flooding.
