Meridian City Council discuss grant options for skate park project

SUMMARY: The Meridian City Council discussed various topics during a work , an on the skate park . Councilwoman Ty Bell Lindsey spearheaded the project and talked about the available to apply for to get the skate park completed. The city is also looking to obtain a Healthy Mississippi grant and plans to work with the East Mississippi Planning organization to get access to more grants. The skate park is expected to cost over $775,000 and is projected to be located at Ben Arthur.

Voters to decide on Lamar County school bond
