Ole Miss stays put at No. 13 in AP Top 25 poll
SUMMARY: Ole Miss football team remains ranked No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the second week in a row. They were jumped by Oregon State after USC dropped out of the Top 15. The team's star wide receiver, Jordan Watkins, suffered a “serious” hand injury during practice, but it is uncertain if he will miss any games. SUMMARY: Lawrence Blair Corley IV, a 17-year-old from Mississippi's Gulf Coast, has been arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder after a fatal shootout during an attempted robbery. Corley, along with Temi Lawal and Lorenzo Stennis, allegedly tried to rob a home on May 13. The homeowner shot Lawal and Stennis, leading to their deaths; Lawal died on the scene, and Corley drove Stennis to a hospital where he later died. As Corley was part of the robbery that resulted in these fatalities, he faces capital murder charges, but the homeowner will not be charged for shooting the intruders.
