Charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling
SUMMARY: Kevin Spain, 18, has been charged by Gautier Police and Jackson County Sheriff's Investigators for shooting into an occupied dwelling. The incidents, reported to be gang-related, took place in Gautier and the St. Martin area on July 17 and 18, respectively. No injuries were reported. Spain, who is from Ocean Springs, was already in jail facing separate charges relating to felony marijuana possession and fleeing from a vehicle pursuit. He is being held without bond on all charges.

MSU researcher part of $19 million NASA mission focused on ‘true brightness’ of stars, secrets of ‘dark energy’
