Hattiesburg native comes home for Sixth Street photo exhibit

Born in Hattiesburg, Hunnal served in the Vietnam War before becoming a staff photographer at Texas Southern . The exhibit showcases his work from Houston’s Third Ward, reflecting themes from Hattiesburg as well. This exhibit runs through August 1, open Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturdays from 12 to 2 p.m. The celebrates the photographer’s efforts to capture the universality of the human spirit.
