News 11 at 10PM_Weather 5/13/24
SUMMARY: The upcoming wave of rain has weakened and is not expected to bring severe storms to the area, with the possibility of isolated severe storms primarily towards the coast. The storm energy is higher towards the coast compared to the northern and western areas, reducing the likelihood of severe weather locally. While there may still be moderate to heavy rainfall leading to potential localized flooding, the severe weather threat is low. Some scattered thunderstorms may still occur, but the overall outlook is for decreasing storm activity overnight with a chance of isolated strong to severe storms on Tuesday. The weekend is expected to be better with sunshine.
A much drier Tuesday, but isolated storms are possible
