SUMMARY: House and Senate negotiators in Mississippi are working to expand Medicaid, with differences in their plans that could impact stakeholders. A new campaign finance law targets renewable energy companies and public service commissioners, aiming to prevent outside influence. Senator Joel Carter introduced the bill to ensure ratepayers have a say in campaign contributions. The law also applies to broadband office employees.
