Volunteers continue giving food, water, labor to Moss Point
SUMMARY: City leaders in Moss Point are debating the approval for a two-million-dollar note to remove debris and order materials following a tornado. Aldermen are set to discuss the issue on Wednesday next week. Meanwhile, more volunteers are showing up with food, water, and clothing. However, there is a growing demand for individuals with roofing licenses or rebuilding expertise in the area. The tornado has caused significant damage, and the community is in need of assistance. Some good Samaritans are already offering their help, but more support is required.

Storm damage, power outages across the Coast and state
SUMMARY: Strong storms passed through South Mississippi with heavy rain, lightning, and power outages. Debris scattered along Highway 15 in George County and a tree went through a car's windshield in Brandon. In Alabama, a tornado touched down in DeKalb County, damaging at least 30 homes and injuring two people. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported, with officials attributing the lack of deaths to the preparations of first responders and citizens. Thousands lost power in the central part of the state, with reports of a transformer exploding. More damage photos and videos are available on WLx.com.
Storms passed through South Mississippi overnight and Friday morning. While the Coast has cleared, we're getting a look at just some of the damage left behind.

Health Corner: Osteoporosis Awareness & Prevention Month with Dr. Inez Kelleher
