Thursday is the deadline for March storm victims to apply for federal aid

Two more days remain for Mississippi affected by the March severe weather and tornadoes to apply for federal disaster assistance.

It's been two months since seven tornadoes traveled through 12 counties on March 24, resulting in a range of to nearly 2,000 houses and the of 22 Mississippi residents.

So far, survivors have been approved for over $10 million in FEMA and over $16 million in Small Business Administration assistance.
