The polls are open in Mississippi
SUMMARY: Today is Election Day and polls are now open. The New Precinct One on State Street is seeing a steady flow of voters as people prioritize voting before work and avoiding the evening and afternoon crowds. Important races, such as the race for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general, are taking place today. However, it is important to note that the old location for Precinct One, Eudora Welty Library on State Street, is permanently closed. The new location is now at 664 State Street, near the intersection of South Street, across from “J-P-S-” headquarters and previously used by the military.
The polls are open in Mississippi for the general election.
