Testing lab speak out after state officials place a hold on medical cannabis sales.
SUMMARY: A majority of cannabis products in Mississippi continues to be under quarantine for the sixth day. The State Health Department announced that all products tested by Rapid Analytics need to be pulled from the shelves. Dispensaries across the state have not been able to sell a majority of their stock since the announcement. The owner of Rapid Analytics, Henry, disputes claims of mishandling pesticide tests on cannabis products. The State Department of Health has decided to go with another company to retest those products. No illnesses have been reported from any of the quarantined products. Questions will hopefully be answered tomorrow.

Crash with injuries on I-10 in Harrison County
SUMMARY: This morning, a crash on Interstate 10 caused a massive pile-up, leading to parts of the highway being shut down by First Responders. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred in the westbound lanes near M Avenue and involved two vehicles. Officials stated that the victim suffered serious injuries, but the scene has since been cleared.
First responders worked a two-vehicle crash that shut down part of I-10 near the Menge Avenue exit.

Bay Harvest Bakery shares a slice of fresh bread on Good Morning Mississippi
SUMMARY: Alex Lacy, from Bay Harvest Bakery in Bay St Louis, brought a plethora of freshly baked goods for a morning segment. He shared that the bakery originated from the closure of another bakery, with support from the former crew. Lacy sampled sourdough bread and Irish soda bread with marmalade, along with cookies, pastries, and gourmet cakes available at the bakery. He mentioned that they also do custom orders. Lacy shared his personal story of meeting his wife in a bar in New Orleans, leading to their happy life in Bay St Louis. The segment ended with a commercial break, teasing more bakery delights to come.

Death investigation underway at bus stop in Biloxi
SUMMARY: Two people were found dead in Buuy, with police discovering them in need of medical attention at a bus stop on Beach Boulevard. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death still unknown. Police do not consider the deaths to be suspicious. The investigation is ongoing.
