Students present their projects at Clarkdale High School through the FlexFactor Program

SUMMARY: Clarkdale High School students from grades 9 through 12 presented their final projects in a tank-style format for the Flex Factor program. The program aims to encourage students to come up with innovative solutions to real-world problems. The projects were assessed by a panel of three judges, representing Lauderdale County school district, Meridian Community College, and industry. Some of the projects included smart eyeglasses, drones, and water filtration systems. The winners will be announced during an Awards night at Clarkdale High School. The students showcased creativity and problem-solving skills in their presentations.

2 arrested for selling meth near church

SUMMARY: Two people, Christopher Adams and Jessica Davis, were arrested by the ATA County Sheriff's Department for selling meth near a church. Adams is charged with selling meth within 1500 feet of a church and is being held in jail without bond. Davis was charged with possession and is currently out on bond. The arrests occurred after a search warrant was executed at a home on Highway 363 in Manache. Sheriff Mitch Neighbors announced the arrests.

Two people were arrested in Itawamba County for selling meth near a church.
