East Mississippi Drug Task Force participates in DEA prescription drug take back day

SUMMARY: The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office and East Mississippi Drug Task Force are participating in the DEA's Drug Takeback Day tomorrow. This allows individuals to safely dispose of old or unused medication to prevent them from ending up in the wrong hands. Lieutenant Joe Morado encourages individuals to bring in expired prescriptions or any other medication that they want to dispose of properly. The event will be held in the Sam's Club parking lot between 10:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. It is a good way to ensure that prescription do not get into the hands of or others.

ICC graduation held on Friday
