SUMMARY: Clarko State Park will be closing North Hills Street to thru traffic Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as they begin renovations to their cabins and facilities. The renovation plan includes refurbishing cabins, redoing campsite pads, and upgrading utilities such as water, sewage system, and electrical systems. The project is expected to cost around 2 million dollars and is part of a bigger renovation project for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, & Parks state wide. In addition to cabin renovations, they are also reworking their lodge and bathhouses on the beach. The renovation is expected to be completed by May of 2024.

Overnight lane closure in Madison County

M-DOT is preparing for overnight roadwork, starting at 7:00 PM tonight and continuing through 6:00 AM until Thursday. Crews will close lanes on the I-55 bridges over Highway 51 and the CNIC Railroad in Madison County to perform a concrete overlay. This work is part of an ongoing effort to repair the bridges.
