NEW DETAILS: 2 people arrested, 1 sent to hospital after shooting at Gulfport shopping center

SUMMARY: Two people are facing charges in relation to an aggravated assault incident that occurred in last June. The incident involved a shooting that wounded one person. The 19-year-old Courtland Jordan and 21-year-old Frikiyah Brown. Jordan is charged with aggravated assault and tampering with evidence, while Brown is charged with tampering with evidence. The altercation took place in a parking lot of a shopping center at Pass and Cowan Roads, where Jordan took out a gun and fired several shots before Brown picked up the shell casings. The victim was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound.

According to GPD, 19-year-old Courtland Joshua Jordan and 21-year-old Frikiyah Janique Brown were arrested.
