Moss Point City leader focus on being ready for natural disasters
SUMMARY: Yesterday, a tornado hit Moss Point, South Mississippi, and now city leaders are working on better ways to be prepared for future natural disasters. Evan Hebert is one of the community members who is helping with the clean-up efforts and moving debris left by the tornado. Many people were not prepared for an event like this, but community members are emphasizing the importance of being prepared and having essential items like totes and shovels. The festival that was postponed due to the tornado will now open again tomorrow morning.
Mayor Knight says you can't stop a storm from hitting, but the plans will gear towards helping people to know what to do right after a storm hits.
