Mississippi legislature passes more digital-friendly method of issuing search warrants

Bond revoked for Jones County woman accused of having sex with dogs

Gulfport 17-year-old charged after two friends killed during attempted robbery

SUMMARY: Lawrence Blair Corley IV, a 17-year-old from Mississippi's Coast, has been and charged with two counts of capital murder after a fatal shootout during an attempted robbery. Corley, along with Temi Lawal and Lorenzo , allegedly tried to rob a home on May 13. The homeowner shot Lawal and Stennis, leading to their deaths; Lawal died on the scene, and Corley drove Stennis to a hospital where he later died. As Corley was part of the robbery that resulted in these fatalities, he faces capital murder charges, but the homeowner will not be charged for shooting the intruders.
