Mississippi Braves leaving Pearl after 2024 season
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Braves will play their final season in Pearl in 2024 before relocating to Columbus, Georgia, for the start of the 2025 season. Team officials thanked the Pearl and Jackson community, as well as the state of Mississippi, for their support over the past 19 years. They plan to commemorate the 20th season at Trustmark Park throughout the 2024 schedule. The team expressed hope that this is not the end of professional baseball in Pearl and will support efforts to bring a new team to Trustmark Park in the future.
