Fifth suspect arrested for shooting death of 15-year-old in Edwards

SUMMARY: A fifth , 21-year-old Kaniya Jones, has been in connection to the shooting of a 15-year-old in Edwards, Mississippi. The victim, Denarius Hayes, was found shot multiple times and later died from his injuries. Two other suspects, 17-year-old Raymond Townsend and 20-year-old Keith Lee, were previously arrested and charged with murder. Two additional , 19-year-old Demarcus Mixon and 21-year-old Justin Campbell, have also been charged with murder and are in custody. All suspects are being held at the Detention Center.

Two injured after being shot multiple times in McComb

SUMMARY: Two were shot multiple times in McComb near the intersection of 14th Street and Nelson . The victims were identified as 27-year-old Marlik Harvey and 28-year-old Domonique McBride, both with multiple gunshot wounds. One victim was airlifted to UMMC in critical , while the other was treated and released from a local hospital. No suspects have been identified at this time.
