Man arrested for three Jackson homicides

SUMMARY: Jackson police arrested 27-year-old Jimal Tarvin in connection to three homicides in the area. Detective Tommie Brown stated Tarvin was arrested by the JPD Action Team on May 10 at 9:30 p.m. He also had an additional warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle. The victims were identified as Travis Burrell, Jamie Hoard, and Nicole Garrett. The investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact JPD or Crime Stoppers.
