Man sentenced to 18 years after selling fentanyl-filled teddy bear to undercover cop

SUMMARY: Carlos Armando Rabago-Torres, a Mexico native, has been to 18 years in prison for attempting to sell over 5,000 fentanyl pills stuffed inside a teddy bear to an undercover officer in . The Gulfport Department began investigating Rabago-Torres after receiving information that he would a large amount of oxycodone from someone in Arizona. Rabago-Torres was along with three other when he placed the teddy bear containing the pills into the officer's vehicle. The pills were later found to contain fentanyl instead of oxycodone. Rabago-Torres will serve the entire sentence without parole or early release.
