SUMMARY: A series of cold fronts will bring lower temperatures and a chance for meaningful rain next week. Tonight, there will be a few clouds passing overhead and it will still feel warm and muggy. Sunday will have highs ranging from the mid-90s to upper 90s, with extra clouds and a few showers and storms throughout the day. Monday and Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms, with temperatures in the upper 80s. Tropical Depression Ten is expected to become Tropical Storm Idalia and make landfall along the Florida coast on Tuesday night or Wednesday.

SHS seniors take final stroll through elementary school halls

SUMMARY: The senior class at Starkville High School participated in an annual “Senior Walk” where they visited all schools in the district to see former teachers and receive well wishes from current students. They were cheered on by students as they walked through the halls, taking pictures along the way. This stop was at Henderson Ward Stewart, where students in grades two to four showed their support.
