Jackson man convicted of killing another over iPhone, money
SUMMARY: In Jackson, Mississippi, Terrance Longino was found guilty of first-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting in July 2018. Longino shot 26-year-old Lee Evans multiple times over an alleged theft of a broken iPhone and $30. The body of Evans was discovered at the intersection of Eastview and Central Street. Longino faces life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday. CPD makes Aggravated Domestic Violence arrest
SUMMARY: On April 27th, Columbus Police responded to a gunshot victim in the 800 block of North Lehmberg. Courtney Stewart Wiggly was arrested for shooting her husband, Daryl Wiggly, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was flown to Jackson for treatment. Courtney is in custody at Lowndes County Adult Detention Center awaiting her Initial Appearance. The incident is being investigated as aggravated domestic violence.
