Inmate ‘walks away’ from Oktibbeha County jail
SUMMARY: Oktibbeha County inmate William Strohm, 47, is being sought after walking away from the Oktibbeha County Jail in Mississippi. Strohm, who was serving a year sentence after being revoked on a burglary charge, was last seen running north on Jackson Street and Martin Luther King Drive. Deputies are using drones and conducting a foot search to find him. Strohm was serving on the kitchen crew at the jail when he escaped and is described as 5'10, around 190 pounds, wearing light-colored pants, a white t-shirt, and a dark-colored coat with an orange interior. If located, authorities ask for anyone to call 911 or the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office.
