Inflation affects small business owners in Columbus
SUMMARY: Inflation is affecting both consumers and small business owners in the US. Store owners, such as Charles McBride, are seeing the impact on their businesses as prices continue to rise. McBride's store, Cash and Carry Building Supply, has been in business for 65 years in the community and even managed to stay open during the pandemic by offering curbside pickup. McBride notes that vendors have marked up prices, but business has been thriving as people have become busier and interest rates have moderated. Despite the challenges of inflation, McBride feels blessed to have a successful business.
Inflation is not only affecting the consumers, but also affecting small business owners.
