Humane Society of South Mississippi unveils new Sensory Garden and Tail Trail

SUMMARY: The Humane Society of unveiled a new Tail Trail sensory garden during Animal Control Appreciation , dedicated to returning lost pets back home. The garden features a sandbox, herbs, and a walking trail for off-leash play. director Katie King expressed excitement for the that staff had been working on for years. The ribbon cutting and cookout celebration honored animal control and volunteers who shelter animals. Officer Christian Germaine spoke about the high number of animals that go missing, emphasizing the importance of microchipping for their return. A $25 adoption special will from May 1st to the 15th.

Beard's Salon and barber school must now pay the hefty sum as a result of the fraudulent activities.

NEW DETAILS: Biloxi Councilman Robert Deming III pleads guilty to federal drug charge

After changing his plea to guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute controlled substances, he faces a sentencing guideline of 70 to 87 months. Prosecutors revealed details of a 3-year investigation, Demming adding synthetic cannaboids to CBD vapes sold at his stores. Raids were conducted on seven candy shop locations and Demming's home, where nearly $2 million in cash was seized. While he remains on bond, may require his removal from office as a public official pleading guilty to a felony.

So far, Deming has not indicated if or when he will office.
