Lamar County School District bond referendum vote Tuesday
SUMMARY: Tomorrow, residents in Lamar County will have the chance to vote for or against a $117 million bond issue for the school district. SUMMARY: After celebrating Mother's Day, the new week began with steady rain in the area. The heavy rain started on Sunday evening and continued into Monday morning. Several severe alerts were issued, mainly south of I-20. As the rain moved out, a dry afternoon followed. More storms were expected from the south and west, potentially bringing isolated severe storms.
